Definitely start with a Shopify store - you get a 14 day free trial and then it's just $30 per month (not a bad investment to get started).

Then start sourcing products on Aliexpress (cheaper, easy to move, etc.) and fill your Shopify store with good stuff from there.

Then start putting the higher end stuff from your Direct Sales Company in with these other products - this is a form of compounding.

Since most Aliexpress products can be drop shipped to the customer directly once the order processes through your store you can get momentum that way.

I assume your direct sales company also offers drop shipping once products are ordered through your store as well.

By putting them together you create a more robust shopping experience while accounting for buyer's intent changes.

People will often follow a link to a cool item, but then change their mind once in the store.

If you have a lot of other items, across mass market price ranges of $10 to $80 then you have a better chance at having them buy something while in the store.

Remember: if you are going to invest in shout outs at $50 to $200 a pop then you want to give yourself every advantage to convert as many site visitors as possible.

Compounding products from both sources and providing incentives to buyers to purchase at least $50 worth of products on your store (either discount for that sum or free shipping, etc.) you are maximizing the returns on the advertising investment.
