Ungating strategies

Actually, right now, today, May 25th, I heard Amazon is being a little more lenient on the ungating process. They do this from time to time to encourage more sellers to provide goods to fulfill consumer demand. We see this especially in advance of a big season, in this case Prime Day is right around the corner!

Contact a wholesaler where you can see the contact name, address, phone number on their website.

Make sure your Purchase Order outlines a few of their products you are about to purchase (dated within 30 days) to the attention of the same contact you see on the website.

Make sure you're ordering enough to make it look like it's not for personal use. I.e. 300 pkgs of choc chip pancake mix, for example. Do not put prices.

Usually an amazon associate double checks your information on the Purchase Order with what they find on the website. If they match up, that is usually all they need to ungate you.

You have to be ungated to sell some collectibles. Read about that here.
